My Artworks are an exploration and my practice seeks to develop a deep understanding of elements such as composition, balance, shape, colour, tone and most importantly Texture. At this stage in my artist development i am chiefly concerned with creating my own symbology and visual language. I am currently working with several themes and images, working them over and over, reshaping, rethinking, aspiring to a new level of awareness. As i have become comfortable with my choosen subjects, it has only been then that i have been able to extend them behind their wildest possibilites as well as my own imagination. I am totally passionate about my profession and i have made many changes both uncomfortable and impractical to pursue the one thing in this world that i have 100% creative autonomy over. Calling all artists in Kent

Mascalls Gallery in Paddock Wood is looking for the best artists in Kent, UK for ko-ax 09. The exhibition will run between 6 March and 4 April 2009 and will feature 6 artists, each represented by a significant body of work. Works of all media are welcomed from painting, photography and sculpture to installation and new media. There is no theme to the exhibition and there is no limit on size.
